About Lisa Rampton Halverson

An Oregonian by birth and temperament, Lisa is beginning to love the arid American Southwest which she now calls home with her husband and two children (adoption miracles!). Lisa studied International Relations (BA) and Modern Jewish and Middle Eastern History (MA) at Stanford University, then taught high school English for 10 years. She holds a PhD in Instructional Psychology & Technology from Brigham Young University and researches learner engagement in blended and online settings. She now adjuncts for BYU and for George Mason University.
