2023 Come, Follow Me
New Testament Lesson 23:
May 29 — June 4

Matthew 26; Mark 14; John 13
“In Remembrance”

As you read about the events described in Matthew 26; Mark 14; and John 13, pay attention to any impressions you receive, especially those impressions that deepen your faith in Jesus Christ and your commitment to Him.

Matthew 26: Jesus is anointed—He keeps the Passover and institutes the sacrament—He suffers in Gethsemane, is betrayed by Judas, and is taken before Caiaphas—Peter denies that he knows Jesus.

Mark 14: Jesus is anointed with oil—He eats the Passover, institutes the sacrament, suffers in Gethsemane, and is betrayed by Judas—Jesus is falsely accused, and Peter denies that he knows Him.

John 13: Jesus washes the feet of the Twelve—He identifies Judas as His betrayer—He commands them to love one another.
