About Robert Swanson
Robert Swanson is a PhD student at the University of Missouri studying history with an emphasis on American religion and politics as exhibited in the American abolition movement. He is a father and husband and am originally from North Idaho. I have published in the The Journal of Mormon History, The New American Antiquarian, The Journal of American Nineteenth Century History, The New Antiquarian, The Journal of Pennsylvania History, New Jersey Studies, and Pioneer. He has also worked for the Church History Department for over five years and have aided with projects such as Saints, the Gospel Topics Essays, Come Follow Me resources, and with other book projects.
