There is one thought on ““If Ye Believe on His Name”: Wordplay on the Name Samuel in Helaman 14:2, 12–13 and 3 Nephi 23:9 and the Doctrine of Christ in Samuel’s Speech”.

  1. Weren’t sure if you were aware of my work on the name Samuel in Egyptian as found in the Anastasi Papyri III from the Nineteenth Dynasty (c. 1292–1189 BC) and its relationship to reformed Egyptian.
It is buried in one of my peer reviewed published book that is in many university libraries and can be freely downloaded on http://www.bmslr.org. Here is the relevant extract from the book just relating to the Samuel name issue. https://drive.google.com/file/d/16ES4XU-MADZnSwsv2Rgb7YmrRwb2K7mf/view?usp=sharing
